Dear Dialup Customer,

The new email server is being activated.  Effective immediately, these changes need to be made to your email settings.

1.      Your account name must be your full email address. Example: johndoe@ccybernet.com.

2.      You must use SMTP authentication in order to send emails.

3.      These are for security purposes and if not implemented today, your email may not function.

To make these changes in Outlook Express, follow the procedure below for each ccybernet email address.

1.      Open Outlook Express

2.      Click on TOOLS.

3.      Click on ACCOUNTS

4.      In the INTERNET ACCOUNTS box, make sure the Mail tab is on top.

5.      Highlight the email account, then click PROPERTIES.

6.      A Properties box should open.  Click on the server tab at the top of box.

7.      Halfway down is your Account Name.  This must be your full email address.  See Example: johndoe@ccybernet.com

8.      The last check box must be checked: My server requires authentication.

9.      Hit the APPLY button, then the OK button.

10.  Then CLOSE last box.  This finishes changes.
